Facebook's Free basic is dead. Who should mourn?
Yes! FreeBasic is Dead in India. TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) dumped facebook's free basics in India. What led to it and to whom it is big loss. This write-up will discuss about all that.
Freebasic has been on controversial stand from its date of launch. The debate over this issue was going on from a long time (more than a year). Freebasic was launched in India on February 10, 2015 as Internet.org.
With the launch of InternetDotOrg it got entrapped in the sqaubble of net-neutrality, terming it as against the internet freedom. Number of campaigns were put in action both by digital revolutionaries in against as well as favour of freebasic and with no doubt, it's big win for the digital revoutionaries who opposed it.
My inquest is that who is on the downside, whose gonna suffer this concept death? Definitely it's facebook but is it only facebook?
"Think upon it and if you cannot think let me make you think."
The Internet.org's Concept
To understand the whole scenario, it's essential to know about the fb's concept.
According to the facebook, internet.org mission is to connect the people in remotest of remote areas with internet (basic essential information) and give them the power of internet.
That is only the mission. What is controversial? Is not it good to provide the power of internet to internet deprived section? So from where the controversy started, who started and why? Let's analyse it and extract optimism.
The Net Neutrality Quarell (Airtel 0 to facebook).
When Airtel in 2015 announced it's zero rating plan, a huge protest was carried out claiming it against internet freedom. Later on internet.org was also brought under scanner in a fear that it may violate net neutrality.
The Internet Saviours:Those who protested against it without giving alternate solution to the problem should also know that they are not only the internet operators in india. Just think about the people who don't have access to the internet, about the people who have ideas, dreams but no resources. Was that not a humble start in giving their dreams wings.
Who protested and why?
During the period of protest many campaigns came into existence in against to freebasic. Side by side people were enjyong the freebasic on reliance network too.
I also got my hands on the service and it was very efficient, helpful. The facebook just provided the basic information, news etc. things that are very essential to live a better lifestyle and the service was absoultely free. It was also the platrform for people having ideas but no resources.
But according to protesters it was against net neutrality. Providing access to the internet deprived people, connecting the whole country was against net neutrality according to them.
Major protestor strength included tech experts, students, academicians. But how can be all they wrong if freebasic was right.
I think in actual the whole controversy was not for saving the internet but saving the own interest. The protestors just thought about their work and scrutnizing it as it was getting affected by freebasic instead of thinking about the people who all are not connected to the world because if they might have thought of them then freebasic must be alive.

Facebook:The freebasic service was being used by over 8 lac people in India. And free basic was huge potential for them. But I think this service will not effect them, and they will continue their mission to connect the world with more innovative ideas.
India:I ndia lost the thing that was very important in empowering the people of India. I think it was the platform that could have given wings to the dreams of resources deprived people.
The Internet Saviours:Those who protested against it without giving alternate solution to the problem should also know that they are not only the internet operators in india. Just think about the people who don't have access to the internet, about the people who have ideas, dreams but no resources. Was that not a humble start in giving their dreams wings.
And if these so called "the saviours of intenet" think that freebasic was not on the mark, then why don't they thought for an alternate solution instead.

In conclusion i would say that there is a great need to increase the access of resouces to the derprived people. And moreover protesting without giving any alternate solution is vain, instead if you think something is not right, then make it right (don't kill). JAIHIND

mind that even the good spirits are also in existence which stay in our society

our Vedas, our soul is situated right at the trinetra (third eye) place in between forehead and is as minute as
a 10th crore part of an atom and when goes in space can generate the energy
equivalent to 100 sun....such an enormous energy could generate
electricity for the entire globe without any high expenditure for
hundreds of centuries..JUST IMAGINE!!!!But we should keep in mind that these
spirits are not the playful stuff to handle..Even the tantric or the black
magic practitioners defies these spirits powers...They are of whereas forms and
each religion has its own ghosts with different names and features..vampires

India Not Ready For Electric Cars!
You may have heard of upcoming future cars equipped with hybrid technology that will run on electricity and may be thinking that they will help the environment a lot by decreasing the pollution rate, then you are wrong. Actually these cars are going to make air dirtier and will worsen the global warming in countries like “India”.
The
key reason behind this the source of electricity. In India the 59% of the
electricity comes from coal and burning of coal can produce 5x more pollution than diesel
car. Also on burning of coal produces oxides of sulphur, nitrogen, carcinogen materials, whereas diesel (or gasoline) also produces pollution but the extent
of emission is very less than coal.
So
electric cars are not safe for environment of India until we get clean electricity.
Sources of clean electricity includes renewable energy, nuclear power,
hydroelectricity, solar energy. So till now the thought of environment friendly electric cars in India goes in vain and next time time if you see electricity being wasted, just remember about pollution being caused.

All Topper, No Noble
Recently CBSE grade 12 result was announced. And the result was excellent. This time CBSE again gave the toppers scoring almost full marks. But this happens every year.
Every year 100’s of toppers grew up but then also in India there were not much noble laureate in the field of science, innovation, arts, in past 20 years.
Comparing the numbers of noble laureates with other countries, in past ten 20 years Canada had 8, China had 5, France had 12, Germany was 13, where as India had only 3, Japan had 14, U.K had 24 and U.S.A topping the list with 127 noble prize winners in past 20 years.
So why in India there are only 3 noble winners by producing 100’s of toppers every year. Moreover European countries performed better than India respective of their population and area. Where is a flaw? Is there a flaw in Indian education system or in the Indian brains. The thing only responsible is our education system.
Also from colonial times, few things have changed. The education system set up by the English people to get control over the country is still into practice. In India we give preference to only to those students who score 90% above, ignoring the students having innovative, artistic and cutting edge minds which due to some reasons are not able to score high. This ultimately effects the growth of the country.
What has to be changed?
Firstly our education system is based upon information but student has to be given knowledge because knowledge can generate information but information can’t. Information has to memorized and memorizing is no learning. The integration of technology into education can also improve the quality of what is being to taught as now we have internet and smart phones, computers etc. to make the tasks easier.
Secondly, by giving everyone equal opportunities in the field of education by making reservation system irrelevant.
Lastly, By changing the purpose of the education. Our education system is still based upon the colonial education system. Everyone wants to study to improve his status and economic conditions. Also our country has large numbers of institutes and graduates but still this has not turned into many innovations. So the purpose the new education system should be to create artists, innovators, scientists, thinkers, world leaders, innovators, writers, entrepreneurs to establish the new era of knowledge based system.
